Translated it means Wulin – 

Wulin (武林 martial forest) refers to the subculture of the martial arts community, both in fiction and real-life Chinese martial arts. 

This term was used frequently during my tenure with TC Media International, publisher of Kung Fu Tai Chi magazine as well as its online presence. Sometime during 2020, while repositioning back-burner projects, I acquired this website domain. I was looking for an alternative to an overpriced TigersTale.com.

Ultimately I found an appropriate web domain for my 2022 graphic novel A Tiger's Tale - aTigersTale.com and saved a huge sum of 💰.  But in all that time I held on to the option of telling other tales from a Kung Fu Forest. This summer, I'm doing something different with the name; extending the metaphor of wulin from a forest of branching martial philosophies to the leaves in books. Books by members of a virtual Wulin.

So KungFuForest.com is a place for building an audience and its community. A place were creators working in similar themes can share their work, promote their projects and grow an audience. 

This platfrom is still in beta - But  we've already received new book entries and even some complementary developer support. We'll be implementing more functionality; blog posts by creators, a social media feed and more image galleries. But first and foremost . . .

I meet Jiba Molei Anderson, CEO & Creative Director for Griot Enterprises back in March at the BiPOC POP LABS Symposium at the University of Texas, Austin. I'm spotlighting his latest project because like  BOX OF TAPES: A ROCK OPERA - there is an accompanying soundtrack.
